Tiger has checked out of rehab at the Pine Grove clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi today. His wife Elin, flew down a few days ago to be with her husband on his farewell from the clinic. The two were photographed leaving the clinic this morning (Feb. 5.)
Tiger and Elin are reportedly on the road to reconciliation. The wife and mother first flew to the clinic in Jan. to attend family counseling with Tiger, while he also attended individual counseling.
Rumors are also to boil about Tiger’s return to the game he loves. He may be returning in the PGA Tour for Accenture Match Play Championship, which was the first sponsor to drop him. The Executive Director of the tournament Wade Dunagan said,
“We don’t know anything official yet, but wouldn’t that be nice? It would mean we’d get Tiger on his return two years in a row. Very cool.”
The match occurs on Feb. 17-21.
However, if Tiger decides not to return just yet, it’s no skin off his back. He is still the top athlete brand in the world worth $82 million – down from $105 million before the accident.
