Simon and his Lady Friend Engaged

Multiple sources say that Simon Cowell and Mezghan Hussainy, a make-up artist for FOX are engaged.

The two are reportedly living together and are officially engaged.

The couple met seven years ago on American Idol. They made their first public appearance six weeks after Simon split with Terri Seymour at his 50th birthday party. So, does this mean that Simon was cheating?

Hussainy is from Afghanistan. She fled with her family after the Soviet invasion in 1979.

According to a statement by Cowell’s publicist Max Clifford, Cowell has been dating Mezghan for only a year.

“They are very suited,” Clifford said earlier. “She is someone who is independent and says what she thinks and feels, and he likes that. He’s probably the happiest I have ever known him in the nine years I’ve been working with him.”
