Daylen Parrish is the child who benefited from the Preserve Our Legacy “Got Bone Marrow” Celebrity Basketball Game on April 30 at
Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Twenty-month old Daylen is from Dallas’
neighbor city, Fort Worth Texas. Daylen suffers from sickle cell anemia and is in
desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. He has been admitted to the hospital 11
times in his first 18 months of life.
Dallas Mayor Dwaine Caraway and model Jessica Dystra coached the Music Team which included Waka Flocka, JD Williams from HBO’s The Wire, February Playboy Cover Model Tisha Marie, Gotti from Cash Money, Celebrity Psychologist/Photographer Efani Allah among others.
On the Sports Team was New York Jets Drew Coleman, Dallas Cowboys Bryan McCann, former And1 player Headache, former New York Jets player Damian Robinson, Kansas City Chiefs Shaun Smith, Anthony Hamilton and others.
